AlbaSim is active in two main areas:

• The development of simulations and serious games for academic and professional training and education.
• Research related to serious games and their use.

AlbaSim is composed of a multidisciplinary team with competencies in pedagogy, software development and design. AlbaSim collaborates with various institutions for the creation, development and promotion of Serious Games.

AlbaSim is a division of the Institute for Information and Communication Technology (IICT), at the School of Business and Engineering Vaud (HEIG-VD).
